Experience designing, implementing, administering and supporting large-scale web applications and web services. Experience working in a large enterprise/global environment

Strong understanding of programming concepts and development / scripting skills using Perl, JavaScript, Lua, Python, etc., with the ability to pick up any language quickly

Excellent troubleshooting skills for application and database errors or performance issues, ability to analyse stack traces and pinpoint errors at the code level.

Strong understanding/experience with R&D concept, proof of concept, implementation & AUTOMATION

Deep understanding of web protocols HTTP, SOAP, etc. and web-based architectures

Experience with administration of web servers or Linux platforms nginx, Apache

Familiarity with content delivery networks CDN, load balancers and web application acceleration solution

Experience working in a DevOps role

Experience with tools such as System Center Configuration Manager, Chef and/or Puppet, Cloud Formation / etc.

Experience designing and/or supporting NoSQL based applications based on Redis, memcached, Aerospike , etc.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement operational architecture for a variety of applications and multi-tier services running on web, compute, and database tiers

Manage operational infrastructure used for e-planning

Build deployment automation scripts and manage deployments

Manage continuous integration software build systems

Design and implement monitoring systems

Respond to alerts troubleshoot problems

Help develop and extend the e-planning platform
